Visual Identity

Metapixel marks NPIXEL's move into blockchain gaming, launched in November 2022 in partnership with the Aptos network. The ambition: triple-A quality gaming experiences on Web3 infrastructure. LUMINA designed the complete visual identity, from the logo through the color and typography systems.

The identity is the shared visual language beneath every Metapixel game, community asset, and promotional piece. It aims to convey innovation, accessibility, and blockchain technology sitting naturally inside the gaming experience.

The brand philosophy starts from the pixel. A single pixel is the starting point; from that smallest unit, endless possibilities grow. The "N" in the Metapixel identity stands for the next generation — where gaming, ownership, and community are headed within blockchain ecosystems. Every visual decision, from the geometric construction of the logotype to the structure of the color palette, rests on that idea.

The logotype is assembled from geometric primitives that echo the pixel philosophy: sharp, angular letterforms with a pixel-derived aesthetic. It scales cleanly, holding up at billboard size on marketing materials and at icon size in interfaces, and the geometric precision keeps it legible and recognizable everywhere.

The color system runs on two primary colors, splitting the ecosystem's two faces between them: stability and innovation. Ocean Blue anchors the brand with trust and depth, hinting at the open water of digital exploration. Sunrise Yellow adds warmth and optimism, the dawn of a new era in gaming. The pair contrasts sharply yet always reads as one brand.

Futura is the core typeface: its geometric skeleton matches the pixel-first philosophy. The clean modernist letterforms carry a technological tone without losing readability, and the range of weights and scales suits an ecosystem that spans platforms and media.
